This was supposed to be the season when it all fell apart. We were supposed to spend every midweek pining away for the angry Brit and his various co-judges. Instead, the show has accomplished quite a feat: It’s erased our memories of seasons past, thanks to the bighearted, funny Tyler and the luminous Jennifer Lopez. Season 10 somehow feels like a bright-eyed newborn.
